Climbing American Blaze  She is one of the first roses I bought. It reads red and I know she looks red here but I am inclined to think of her as dark pink. She sits by the creek side and receives some shade but it's very hot where she is. |
This spring she certainly has had a flush. I do have an issue with black spot and her. Maybe she will bloom more this year. Pretty rose, but not one of my favorites.
She sits behind Impatient rose and Don Juan. Yes, she is rather unruly at the moment and will need to peg her or something. Behind her is Climbing Golden Showers.
This was her in May 2012, so I have had her at least a year.
I don't remember when I bought her but she is against the utiltiy pole. She didn't bloom much last year...I don't know if she needed to be established or wasn't getting enough water.

Pink & Red Rose Bed
I don't know what this rose is. It should be Promise but I think I have switched roses along the way. I will say it is an outstanding red rose with great fragrance. I believe this Chrysler Imperial. Whatever the rose is, it would make a great Valentine's day rose
