December Bloom Day

It's December bloom day.  This is where garden blogger post what is blooming in their garden on the 15th of each month.  Then we post it on May dreams gardens. We have had an extremely warm December but many freezes.  It's a bit annoying because things try grow & then get killed.  This week will be in the 70's and next week drop into the 30's.  All that being said, not a whole lot is blooming right now.  I'll start with the greenhouse & show what is blooming outside.
The greenhouse isn't as packed as it was last years.  To see what December 2012 looked like, click HERE.  It is amazing how quickly my gardens change.
Bougainvilleas are blooming...they love it it in here.

Begonias

Outside some roses are still blooming

Impatient rose

American Climbing Blaze

Paradise rose

Knockouts are really going to town.  This area is over hang with huge oaks which probably give a bit of protection.

Alabama Beauty Camellias I think are done blooming.

Rye grass was planted a month late but it's coming up.

Memphis music rose

Encore Azaleas bloom 10 out of 12 months

Mexican Heather underneath has fared well.

Back rose garden now.  Below is what it looked like in October.
What the rose garden looked two months ago.  I have enjoyed the break.

Green Ice roses are still blooming.

My other camellias are starting to wake up.
Knockouts in the back rose garden is still going.

Wonderful to have all those lovely roses! And a great selection of plants in the grenhouse, too!
Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!

I was hoping to see a few camellias. They aren't hardy here, for the most part, which is surely why I want to try to grow some. Thanks for joining in for bloom day!

@Lea, thanks...your weather as weird as mine.
@Carol...It's odd to hear that camellia aren't hardy since they are cold weather things here.

Thanks for leaving a message on my post, its good to hear from someone new!
You have so much colour still in your greenhouse and garden. Our temperatures are about 10C during the day and not much lower at night, We have had a couple of frosts but not severe, so everything is still growing!

Very envious of your Bougainvilleas. Even in the greenhouse here I doubt they'd survive. i've tried them as houseplants but without much success, they need more light.

Beautiful Roses. My weather in Pasadena, California has been a bit crazy too. Last week the evenings were down in the mid to high 30s and today during the day it was back in the 70s. My Angel Trumpet trees (they are just babies growing in containers) lost some of their foliage.) It will be about time to prune roses here come January. I dread the thought. I've never done it before (my first year growing roses.) So I'm going to take a class first and then hope for the best! :)

Sorry all for the delays...I'm still in fall burnout but the spring fever is starting to creep in. @ Danielle...I think that I begin pruning when I start seeing new growth but the roses haven't gone dormant yet...so I am unsure when to do it but for Valentine's Day. @Rusty, my bougainvilleas will look "dead" from time to time and I discovered to water them more. @Pauline, I wish now we had true winters sometimes..but I know I am thankful for having longer growing seasons.
