First, I wanted to mention this great blog that I have been following..it has lots of pictures.. Its by a person who actually knows what she's talking about.

I won some gift cards from work. I suppose everyone has some compulsions but I have a greenhouse and I know roses are on sale!
I have two major projects in the works..one is irrigating the property (boring) and the other is to create peacock topiary similar to the one listed below. Will it look like this?...no...but the frame is relatively easy shape and I was going to put Mexican heather as the tail. The problem is I am having the hardest time finding a frame (to buy) that isn't outrageous.
Anyway, I am going to buy the roses anyway. I have barely any room in my greenhouse now and I should be working on the non-fun stuff...but it's a hobby right? ...I say "Let them eat cake!"

First, thanks for the link love! Secondly, Wow! I am so excited! And it's not even my project! hahaha Seriously, I have always wanted a large topiary in my garden ( I have a horse picked out) but have been a bit afraid to try. I can't wait to see your progress! Good luck!
Well that's the beauty of being a novice..we have no idea what we are getting into
