We have tons of butterflies...but this I think Moth.
We have been spotting that looks like a bald eagle. It has a white head and a black body. Two others have stated the same.....I think it is.
Hummingbirds have been migrating and they love bottlebrush. But to photo them is like taking a picture of lightening. I think I finally got a shot of one...but it's hard to see.

I think your butterfly may be a Red Admiral.
Your gardens are looking lush and green and lots of flowers. I love the curtains and the pool area. Refreshing. The butterfly/moth looks like it could be a red admiral...not sure though.

Nope, I am really not like August lately...it's is just too hot to go outside...I have gotten cabin fever! How about you?

I go out. I just don't stay long at a time and I choose my times.
No rain in sight for a while. I'm starting soakers and dribblers here and there before things die.
