The Ruellia -- blue, Mexican Petunia some call it -- I've always read that it is invasive.

I have ONE. It sat in the same space for years, still there. Never threw seeds anywhere, never made a bigger clump, just sits on a little slope in the midst of some lavender Lantana and a little Purple Heart.

I haven't found them to be invasive either..or at least not uncontrollably...no more than say, lilies. My Aunt Agnes gave them to me...because she was thinning them out....pretty hardy though. They work a whole lot better for me than regular petunias.
